2016 is a Busy Year at Henderson Park!

We have several events scheduled for clean ups, fundraisers and festivals where you can find out how you might contribute.

In September, Tucker Civic Association will be sponsoring a Give an Hour, Saturday, Sept. 10 from 9 am to noon with Friends of Henderson Park. Projects for that day include planting shrubs, bushes and mums for the beautification of the park and marking the trails inside the park. Check-in and set-up will be at the concession stand off of Henderson Road. We are providing support to TYSA as they plan for the yearly soccer guest weekend which will include two time Olympic Gold Medalist Abby Wombach.

Native Plant and Wildlife Walk has ongoing workdays in the park scheduled every Tuesday morning for the Summer of 2016, meeting in the community garden parking lot on Henderson Road. All are welcome. For more information, please email the FOHP Native Plant Team.
