Hiking Trails

Updated: Nov 15, 2023

Henderson Park has over 6 miles of hiking trails including paved sections and a 1.75-mile loop around Lake Erin. Along the way you’ll discover birds, wildlife and native plants and trees.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy to Moderate. There are a few challenging hills, but alternate trails to avoid them as well. The paved path on the Henderson Road side of the park is roughly ½ mile of easy walking but good exercise. The blue, red and white trails are 1 – 2 miles long on unpaved paths.

TERRAIN: Unpaved wooded trails with roots and rocks, small creek crossings and a few bridges and boardwalks.
