work days

There is always work to do at a public park. Volunteer work days are usually scheduled on a Saturday or holiday morning. Volunteers gather trash and debris, engage in plantings, pruning, cutting vines and other invasives, spreading mulch, building new structures and more. Scout troops, school groups and other organizations have been active participants—individuals and families are always welcome— what a great way to make new friends!
